Weird punches: SALE SALE SALE ! Today My Brand value has gone down by UPTO 61%

Jack & Jones does a rare feat: Billings suprised with higher than advertised discounts

Hi folks,

My friend got a pleasant surprise when Jack and Jones ( R City Mall, Ghatkoper, Mumbai ) gave 50% discount during billing as against 30% advertised on the label during his visit on July 13, 2013.

We present the bill (Transaction id 150102013131), the price tag ( Article No 5711646080275) and discount tag of 30% at the end of this post.

The garment ERIK Original G with M.R.P of Rs 4995 was given for Rs2479 (No VAT). A clear 50% discount against advertised 30%.

Well ! Quite an innovative way to flatter the customer. Or this was some error !

Now the weird insight ! Generally, the billing guys seldom calculate exact discounts in their minds while customers usually do that religiously (It's their hard earned money).

At the end of the day, it may be some labeling or punching mistake in software. Blind following of computer systems has thrown large instances of weird errors. The observant customers like my friend gains or atleast avoid getting a weird loosing deal.

Enjoy the 'SALE' season and be prepared for some weird surprises like this.

Lifestyle: double price tag products in sale: Are you tallying your bills !

Hi Guys,

We all know that a month long sale period have commenced across malls in Mumbai. However, some weird deals can catch you unawares.

Below is the account of my friend Subbu, who happened to visit Lifestyle store on July 07, 2013 to buy a mechandice on sale. The store threw a weird deal on him but cannot escape his observant eye.

The shirt he picked had a price tag of Rs629 (1st pic) which induced Subbu to pick up the product. However, when he went for billing he was charged Rs907 bucks instead (2nd pic is the bill).

Unlike many others Subbu bought just two products. Hence the price tag difference immediately caught his eye.

Then started all usual stuff by the payment counter guys that it was VAT. But VAT is 5% and not 50%, he argued.

Now we all can also predict the next usual excuse by payment counter guy that Rs629 was a wrong price tag and a labelling mistake. Another excuse, the system is picking only Rs907 barcode....

bla..bla..bla after 40 min in the queue

Anyway what's the big deal ! Subbu bought the product after a fight, paid Rs907 and came back. Who has the choice these days !

The two price tag weird deals are now a common labelling mistake. These weird deals can catch you the next time on sale, just tally your next bill and find out.

Enjoy shopping and do come back to read more after a while !

Snapdeal vouchers cannot detect multiple usages

Hi guys,
Welcome again after a long time !

We all love snapdeal deals as some of them are incredible but the fact is that most merchants don't report snapdeals vouchers online at the time of sale.
This means that you can register snapdeal id once and can use it multiple times at merchants location.

We visited funcity gaming zone at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon East on June 23th, 2013 Sunday. I initiatlly purchased the offer on snapdeal for Rs30 that entitles me for Rs500bonus on Rs500 card recharge. The link for that offer is http://www.snapdeal.com/deal-mumbai-fun-city-bonus1?pos=2;16

Once you show the snapdeal sms/email at the funcity counter, the guys will take note of your snapdeal voucher Id on a small paper, your name and phone number.

Give them Rs500bucks and get recharge of Rs500 as bonus.

Now the weird deal ! We went with the same old snapdeal sms/email voucher, the next weekend i.e June 30th, 2013. As a routine, funcity guys noted our snapdeal voucher id on a paper, my name and phone number. I gave them Rs500 and got recharged for Rs1000bucks.

Now for some rich folks out there, what is the big deal of saving Rs30bucks. Same here ! we definately lable this a weird deal.

Enjoy shopping but cut that weird deal for yourself !
